Air was established by Carmey Ivy, Sr., in 1971 to provide building controls and commercial/industrial service for the state of Arkansas and surrounding areas.

Air acquired the
Andover Controls franchise for Arkansas in 1986 and has since been a factory supported "certified
representative". In 2004, TAC acquired Andover Controls, and the corporation's name changed to Tour Andover Controls.

They include telecommunication companies, manufacturing facilities, data facilities, office complexes, IMAX theaters, hospitals, universities, shopping centers and postal facilities, along with city, county, state, and federal offices, laboratories, jails and prisons.
