Commercial Air was established by Carmey Ivy, Sr., in 1971 to provide building controls and commercial/industrial service for the state of Arkansas and surrounding areas. Commercial Air acquired the Andover Controls franchise for Arkansas in 1986 and has since been a factory supported "certified representative". In 2004, TAC acquired Andover Controls, and the corporation's name changed to Tour Andover Controls.

Commercial Air's clients are a list of Fortune 500 companies and/or their vendors. They include telecommunication companies, manufacturing facilities, data facilities, office complexes, IMAX theaters, hospitals, universities, shopping centers and postal facilities, along with city, county, state, and federal offices, laboratories, jails and prisons.

Commercial Air's office in Little Rock, Arkansas, is equipped with a fleet of vehicles staffed with the finest technicians in the automation and service industry, backed by an in house engineering staff, all available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for complete, unmatched client support.
